What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
One of my favorite ways to spend a day off is with my husband going to gardens or old cemeteries. My other favorite thing to do is to spend the day with my daughters and their families, playing with my grandsons and making my granddaughter laugh.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
Jeremiah 29:11. "I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to give you a future and a hope."
What was your first car?
I guess I can show how old I am by saying that my first car was a 1963 Chevy Impala that my husband bought for me in 1972 for $450.  I learned to drive on my dad’s 1959 Chevy station wagon that did not have air conditioning or power steering so I thought I was driving in style in my “new” car.
What was your favorite band when you were a teenager?
My favorite group when I was growing up was Peter, Paul and Mary.  The youth at the church used to sing their songs when we went on choir tours to Colorado, California, Washington D.C. and Florida.  It is amazing how many of the words to their songs I can still remember.
