Mason Law, Interim College Minister
I am from the great state of Georgia where I was born and raised. I attended Kennesaw State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Religious Studies in 2014. In 2015 I moved to Louisiana to work with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry in Lafayette, LA, and to attend New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where I am currently in the process of acquiring my Masters of Divinity degree. While in Louisiana, I served on a mission trip in Alaska where I met my beautiful wife, Sydni. I recently had the privilege of marrying my best friend, and we now live comfortably in our cozy apartment in Bedford, TX. All other information about me can be summed up in that I have a passion for working with college students and serving the local church!
What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
Doing anything outdoors! I love hiking, hammocking, and anything else that involves adventure and enjoying nature. On days off you can probably find me hiking random Texas trails with my wife.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Definitely the ability to fly. I enjoy nature too much to simply teleport to a location.
What was your favorite band when you were a teenager?
The band, Creed. I have fond memories of riding around in my sister’s jeep jamming to Creed as we came home from school.
What's your favorite Bible verse?
Galatians 5:1 – “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”
