Dana Chavarria, Organist
 
Dana Marie Chavarria is our Church Organist and has served UBC since 2010.  She grew up in Arlington, Texas where she was raised in the Nazarene Church.  Dana has a Bachelor of Music degree in Church Music and a Masters of Music in Organ Performance from Texas Christian University.  She currently teaches piano at Arlington Heights Music Academy and is the choir accompanist for Haltom High School.
 
Along with her music career, Dana also serves as a Human Resources officer in the Army Reserves after serving 26 months of active duty including a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq in 2006-2007 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
 
What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?
Recently married, I enjoy spending Saturdays visiting museums and attending performing arts events with my husband, Adrian.
